Welcome to St John's...

As a church that is part of the Church of England, in the World-wide Anglican Communion we are the parish church for Moston in the Diocese of Manchester. We believe and trust in one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit - the Trinity of God’s Love.

Our Church offers a large worship space and pastoral centre, open to all. At the heart of all we do here, we seek to bring our community together in God’s Kingdom of love, joy and peace. We want to include and support all who may visit us, and seek to develop projects in partnership with others to further this. Please look out for our future events or ask if you would like to be involved.

We are a committed, faithful congregation… some of us are mature in years whilst still young at heart! We have a thriving Junior Church and a lovely group for young people, called ‘The Jonners’. We hope that you may share in our worship of God and service to others in our shared journey of faith.

We are here to help all who live in our parish in prayer and projects. We enjoy regular times together at our holiday sessions of Bible study and fun, in our new men’s and women’s groups and at our regular social events. We love to bring in food and share together after worship, especially at Harvest Lunch or other church celebration—do join us! Our Monday ‘Pop-In’ sessions are here every Monday in term time - just call in…

When do we meet?

Sunday services

Sunday Service of Holy Communion is at 11:15, with Junior Church in school holidays. Once a month we have an All- Age service together. Our children always have provision, at all services, and under fours are welcome in church or to say with parents/carers in the crèche.

We all gather around the altar to receive Holy Communion, or a Blessing. Every Tuesday at midday we share in a small said service of Holy Communion
